Caroline W. Ngure, MPH | Managing Director
"Passionate Advocate for Health Systems Strengthening"
After spending more than a decade implementing projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and U.S. federal agency partners in collaboration with international stakeholders, Caroline was inspired to establish the Global Health Implementation Team (GHIT) to focus on capacity building activities in resource-limited settings. She is a knowledgeable administrator with expertise in global health programming, resource management, policy analysis, proposal development and implementation. Caroline is well-informed on various public health topics: emergency preparedness and response, global health security, disease surveillance, public health workforce development, health policy and financing.
Caroline immigrated from Kenya to the U.S. with her family as a pre-teen. Throughout her career, she has traveled to various developing countries and witnessed the negative impact of insufficiently staffed and dilapidated health facilities. These experiences serve as her motivation to pursue opportunities that support sustainable solutions, and earned her the reputation of being culturally adaptable.
She frequently volunteers with local immigrant community programs in Clarkston, Georgia to provide social integration services and mentorship for young adults. Through these activities and speaking engagements, Caroline fulfills her passion of sharing the values and benefits, as well as personal and professional skills obtained through pursuing her dreams and higher learning.

Global Health Implementation Team (GHIT) seeks to provide services that are locally relevant and sustainable. Therefore, we have assembled a team of experts with applicable subject matter expertise and experience to successfully execute projects. Most of our projects are carried out internationally within low- and middle-income countries. As a result, we value the importance of collaborating with talented individuals who are culturally adept. We utilize a network of consultants taking into consideration - cultural competence and adaptability; to ensure appropriate implementation of scientifically proven interventions to strengthen local public health systems.
