Unsafe and unhealthy living conditions coupled with underdeveloped public health systems perpetuate the resurgence of eradicated diseases and deadly infectious pathogens. Simultaneously, newly emerging diseases continue to outsmart existing surveillance systems and remain a step ahead of scientific research. Unfortunately, frequent outbreaks within communities wreak havoc in the lives of the world's most vulnerable populations and threaten global health security. While governments and organizations intensify efforts to improve health outcomes through capacity building - there remains a lot to be done.
Global Health Implementation Team (GHIT), LLC is a consultancy based in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At GHIT we believe that improving health security globally is dependent on a collective network of strong national public health systems. We understand that investments made toward achieving global health security must be focused on addressing weak public health systems and encourage innovative approaches to building capacity for public health systems.
Our mission is to establish and maintain strategic alliances for successful and sustainable global health programming. We collaborate with public health experts to implement programs and facilitate new partnerships from a variety of industries to expand novel projects that have the potential to bolster public health capacity building efforts in developing countries.
